WARNING AGAINST THE USE OF SNIPER.

Port Harcour based pharmacists, Ojiaka Chukwuemeka and Paul Ezenwa have called on the public to adhere to NAFDAC’s warning against the use of sniper insecticide in preserving foodstuff.
According to the duo, NAFDAC’s instructions should be followed because the organization regulates drugs used in Nigeria.
They told Radio Rivers Correspondent Fubara Miebaka Amadi that the use of sniper insecticide for foodstuff preservation is dangerous to human health due to its contents.
The Pharmacists said sniper insecticide is a chemical that was intended to kill insects and if consumed by human could also result to death.
According to them, the Chemicaal has been used to commit suicide in recent times and enjoined NAFDAC to monitor its usage.
Chukwuemeka and Ezenwa noted that sniper insecticide is poisonous and capable of causing cacer and kidney related diseases adding that the warning by NAFDAC was apt and timely.
