A High Court presided over by Justice S.C Amadi has commenced hearing on the gruesome murder of Daniel Chibuike Ikeagwuchi known as Sleek by Operatives of Anti-kidnapping Unit of Rivers State Police command at Elelenwo Community in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area.

Responding to the briefs the prosecuting team said they were in court to seek for reliefs and urged the court to order the Nigerian Police Command to remedy the wrongs inflicted on the family of Ikeagwuchi with the sum of One Billion Naira as general damage and compensate them. The Defendants were however not present in court.

Our Judicial Repoerter Wike Festus reports that after listening to the prosecuting counsel, Justice S.C Amadi adjourned the matter to November 23, 2020 for ruling on the motion bordering on enforcement of Fundamental Human Rights which the prosecuting counsel to the plaintif raised.
