GOVERNOR WIKE JOINED OTHER PROMINENT NIGERIANS TO HONOUR LATE MADAM ABIGAIL MAKINDE, MOTHER OF OYO STATE GOVERNOR.

Rivers state governor, Nyesom Ezenwo wike, joined several politicians and business moguls from across the country to honour late Madam Abigail Omojolagbe Amope Makinde, mother of Oyo State Governor, Seyi makinde.

Present at the funeral service at church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Ibadan North Diocese, the cathedral of Saint Peter, Aremo, Ibadan were chairman of Nigeria Governor’s Forum Dr kayode Fayemi, chairman Peoples Democratic Party Governors Forum, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and the Chairman South-South Governors Forum, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa.

Others include, Akwa Ibom state Governor, Udom Emmanuel, Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Enugu state Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Lagos state Governor, Babajide Sanwaolu, Ogun state Governor, Dapo Abiodun and Ondo state Governor, Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu.

Also in attendance were the National Chairman of PDP, Prince Uche Secondus, 2019 PDP Vice Presidential candidate and former Governor of Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, former Governor of Ogun State Governor Otuba Gbenga Daniels, immediate past Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, members of the National Assembly, Group managing Director, Sahara power Group, Mr Kola Adesina among other dignitaries.

The funeral service witnessed prayers for the bereaved family and the church.
