ABIA STATE INEC DECLARES PDP 17 CANDIDATES WINNERS OF THE JUST CONCLUDED LGA’S ELECTION

The Abia State Independent Electorial Commission, ABSIEC, has declaerd the Peoples Democratic Party’s seventeen Chairmanship candidates as winners of the just concluded Local Goverment Councils election.
Professor Mkpa Mkpa, the chairman of ABSIEC, announced the result on Sunday 20 December 2020 in Umuahia.
Mkpa said, the Labour Party won six Councilorship seats out of the ten in Ikwuano LGA of the state, while PDP cleared all councilorship seats in the remaining Local Government Area of the state.
He commended the electorate, ABSIEC officials for the peaceful conduct of the election.
