2020 KALABARI PRAISE FESTIVAL “DEIN PIRI TAMUNO” POSTPONED TO 5TH FEBRUARY 2021

The 2020 Edition of the Kalabari Praise Festival, taged, the Asalga Experience 2020 with the theme ” Dein Piri Tamuno” ealier slated for December 28th has been postponed to February 5th 2021.
Addressing newsmen in Port Harcourt, the Organizers of thwe Kalabari Praise Festival 2020, Pastor Selema Wokoma said the postponement was due to the resurgence of the dreaded corovirus pandemic in the country.
Pastor Selema emphisized that it would be very difficult to observe covid-19 preventive protocols at a praise Festival expected to have not less than 2000 Participants pointing out that the shift in date was was perfected after wide consultations with partners hopingthat the 2nd outbreak of covid-19 will be contained during the set period.
He expressed regrets about the postponement and appealed to sponsors, invited Artistes, Special Guests and the entire Kalabari Kingdom to bear with the organizations as the shift was targetedto contain further spread of coronavirus pandemic in the area.
Pastor Selema Wokoma who commended Stakeholders of Kalabari Kingdom and Partners for their continuous cooperation, especially during the hosting of the praise festival, assured that the event when held, would boost the spirituality of the people in the area.
