BAUCHI STATE GOVERNOR APPLAUDES WIKE’S ENGAGEMENT OF LOCAL CONTRACTORS

The Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed has commended Governor Wike for defying all challanges to provide dividends of democracy to Rivers people.
Senator Bala made the assertion while inaugurating the Sime-Nonwa-Kira road in Tai Local Government Area, constructed by the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike.
The Bauchi State Governor who described Governor Wike as outspoken and one who always speaks the truth, noted that Nigeria needs people like Wike who leads and brings people on board with qualityand capacity to deliver.
He noted the high quality of the road which transverses several communities of Ogoniland and lauded Governor Wike for encouraging local contractors with capacity to contrbute to the development of the State.
In his speech, Governor Wike said the inauguration of the road has put to shame those who spread negative news that his administration is only executing projects in Port Harcourt and Obio/Akpor local Government Areas.
Governor Wike berated Dr. John Bazia for his comments that no project is being executed in Ogoniland and assured that he will do everything possible to ensure that all Local government Areas are impacted by his administration.
The Governor who observed that critics thought the road will be abandoned after it was flagged off reiterated his administration’s commitment to complete all projects awarded by his administration before the end of his tenure.
He lauded the people of the communities for the support given to the contractor which the completion of the project in record time and urged other communities to emulate them.
Earlier in his remarks, the State Commissioner for Works, Elloka Tasie Amadi said the 10.3 Kilometers road will impact positively on the economic life of the people of the area.
