The Chairman Rivers State Universal Basic Education Board, Venerable Fyneface Akah has asked teachers in the UBE-Subsector of Education to justify study of mathematics to make it attractive and easy to understand.
Venerable Akah stated this while declaring open a seven-day training on strengthening Mathematics and Science education with the theme, “Enhancing Positive Attitude Towards The Teaching and Learning of Mathematics and Science in Basic Education”.
He challenged teachers in UBE Schools to simplify Mathematics and Science subjects for easy understanding in order to excel in Mathematics in future Junior and Senior WAEC Examinations in the country.
