GOVERNOR NYESOM EZENWO WIKE HAILS THE APPOINTMENT OF NEW SERVICE CHIEFS.

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has challanged the new Service Chiefs to see their appointment as an opportunity to re-engineer the nation’s security architecture.

The Governor in a statement by the State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Paulinus Nsirim, said though theappointment came late as security in the country has suffered tremendous setback in the last five years commended President Buhari for listening to the voice of the people.

While commending President Buhari for the appointments, he noted that Nigerians who lost confidence in the former Service Chiefs are looking up to the new appointees to make the deswired change.

He called on all levels of government to give Service Chiefs the needed support they would require to execute their assignments.
