The Senate has descriebd the appointment of the new service Chiefs as a welcome development.

The chairman senate committee on Army, Senator Ali Ndume stated this in Abuja
He also said President Buhari should mandate the new service chiefs to report directly to the National Security Adviser instead of the existing practices of reporting to the chief of staff.
