Governors of the South-West have agreed to ban all forms of open grazing in the region.
Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde stated this when the Governors met with the leadership of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria and Security Chiefs in Ondo State.
According to him, Oyo State already has a law against open grazing, to be implemented by Security agencies.
It would be recalled that Akeredolu on January 18, 2021, ordered Herdsmen to leave Ondo forest reserves within seven days following incidents of kidnapping attributed to Fulani Herders.
