Presidents of Rivers State have reacted to the seizure of forty parcels of cocaine by the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, at Tin Can Port Lagos.

The impounded cocaine weighing forty-three-point-one kilogrammes, has an estimated street value of thirty-two Billion Naira.

Speaking in an interview with Radio Rivers Correspondent, Nsikak Kufre, the respondents Iheanyi Ortuka, Levi Jerusalem, Victor Varasigo, this week described the seizure of the illicit drug by NDLEA as a good omen as it would reduce the rate of drug abused in the country and also save the lives of the youths.

They said importation of hard drugs was bad as the country forbade drug peddling.

The respondents appealed to the government to create job opportunities for both graduates and non-graduates to reduce the high rate of crime and make the country a better place for everyone.
