RSBC TO PARTNER NIGERIAN INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC RELATIONS, RIVERS STATE CHAPTER TO STOP THE SPREAD OF COVID-19

In an effort to stop the spread of Covid-19 in Rivers State, the Rivers State Broadcasting Corporation is to partner Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Rivers State Chapter.

The General Manager, Rivers State Broadcasting Corporation, Sir Sampson Fiberesima stated this during a courtesy visit to his office by the Covid-19 Sensitization Committee of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Rivers State Chapter.

Fiberesima said it was part of the social responsibility of the corporation to partner NIPR to ensure that the people were well sensitized on the danger of Covid-19.

Earlier, the Chairman of Rivers NIPR Covid-19 Advocacy Committee, Samuel Toby-Osuloka commended the corporation for partnering NIPR in the State.

Osuloka urged the people of the State to obey the rules on Covid-19 because it would be dangerous, if the public space was not well protected, emphasizing that wearing face mask is compulsory.

Radio Rivers Correspondent Alexander Wikina report that the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations will commence its sensitization visit to public places tomorrow in the State.
