SENATE’S RECENT CALL ON PRESIDENT BUHARI TO ISSUE AN EXECUTIVE ORDER TO FISH OUT CRIMINAL HERDSMEN, KIDNAPPERS AND BANDITS ILLICITS MIX REACTIONS

The Senate’s recent call on President Muhammadu Buhari to issue an Executive Order to fish out criminal herdsmen, kidnappers and Bandits has illicited mixed reactions.

The Senate’s resolution is as a result of the activities of criminal herdsmen, kidnappers and Bandits in different parts of the country which has caused law abiding citizens pain and untold hardship.

Some respondents including Siki Fiberesima, Cyril Ohamuo and a gospel artist, Shine Excel told our reporter, Nnender Miller in an interview that it was a right move in view of the negative impact of the criminal herdsmen activities on food security and safety of citizens.

They advised security agents to fish out criminal herdsmen, kidnappers and bandits who are also tarnishing the image of the Buhari administration.

The respondents emphasized that the Executive Order when issued should be obeyed to restore peace in the country.
