RIVERS STATE CHAPTER OF CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA FOR THE YEAR 2021 HOLDS TOMORROW AT THE SOUTH/SOUTH SECRETARIAT.

The first State Executive Council meeting of the Rivers State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN for the year 2021 holds tomorrow at the South/South Secretariat.

The meeting billed for eleven o’clock in the morning will deliberate on current happenings in both Christian Community and the Nation at large.

A statement by the State CAN Chairman, Dr. Stanley Dimkpa and Secretary Archbishop Emmanuel Ogu directs all Local Government Coordinators to attend unfailingly while all family Heads should come with ten delegates.

The statement urges denominational heads of recognized Churches to be present in the meeting which will reveal the outcome of CAN’s meeting with the Federal Government and warned all attendees to strictly observe COVID-19 protocols always.

Meanwhile, the CAN Secretary Archbishop Emmanuel Ogu who is also the Presiding Bishop of the Apostolic Christian Faith Mission Incorporated has announced date for the 2021 annual convention of the Church.

According to the Archbishop, the convention begins on Thursday February 18 and ends on Sunday February 21, 2021 at Immanuel Cathedral Ulakwo Two Junction in Etche Local Government Area.

He said the former Rivers State CAN Chairman, Apostle David Zilly Aggrey would lead other anointed Ministers to officiate in the programme which would feature salvation, healing, miracles and invited the public to attend.
