RTD. GEN. BABAGANA MONGUNO SAYS PRESIDENT BUHARI’S ADMINISTRAION IS DEEPLY CONCERNED ABOUT THE SPATE OF INSECURITY IN NIGERIA

The National Security Adviser, Retired General Babagana Monguno says President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration is deeply concerned about the spate of insecurity in Nigeria.
General Monguno however assured that the Federal Government would take major steps to strengthen the capacity of security agencies, upgrade architecture and implement a multi-pronged strategy that involves political, humanitarian, economic and security measures.
He disclosed this to newsmen during a meeting of the General Security Appraisal Committee.
In attendance were service Chiefs, Heads of Law Enforcement, Security and Intelligence Agencies.
They discussed kidnapping, terrorism, banditry, armed robbery which have consequences on citizen’s lives and property.
