NOA SAYS THE APPROVED ASTRA-ZENECCA COVID VACCINE IS TROPICALLY SUITABLE FOR NIGERIAN USE.

The National Orientation Agency, NOA says the approved Astra-Zenecca Covid-19 vaccine is tropically suitable for Nigerian use.

 The agency has therefore, decided to intensify the sensitization campaign to religious groups across the twenty-three Local Government Areas in the State for its acceptance.

The State Director of NOA, Young Ayotamuno who made the remark, said NOA’s visit to Christian Leaders, including Youths and Women Fellowship at Eleme was on the efficacy of the Covid-19 vaccine.

According to the NOA Director, the message of the expected Astra-Zenecca Covid-19 vaccine was taken to Moslem Community at the Buguma Central Mosque in ASALGA, Rumuakunde Mosque in Emohua, Local Government Area among other Christian and Moslem worship centres.

The NOA boss who warned against the consequences of violating the Covid- 19 protocols of social distancing, hand washing, the use of sanitizers and face masks further explained that the people of the Niger Delta were blessed with already existing storage and maintenance facility for the Astra-Zenecca vaccine.
