GUNMEN KILL FOUR POLICEMEN IN THE CROSS RIVER STATE CAPITAL, CALABAR

Four policemen have been reportedly killed by gunmen at a check-point in Calabar, the Cross River State Capital.

It was gathered that the incident happened in the early hours of Thursday at Ayanmbat Community near Idundu in the Aka Efa Area of the State.

An eyewitness said the gunmen swooped on the unsuspecting policemen and gunned them down in cold blood while resting at the location.

Reports says, six bodies including those of civilians were seen and blood stains were all over the place.
