NAWOJ, RIVERS STATE CHAPTER ASSURES ALL-INCLUSIVE ADMINISTRAION AIMED AT IMPROVING WELLBEING OF MEMBERS

Members of the Rivers State Chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, have been assured of an all-inclusive administration aimed at improving the wellbeing of members.

To this end, women Journalists will undergo training and retraining specially in the area of Information and Communication Technology, ICT, to boost the capabilities in information gathering and dissemination as the new executive intensifies efforts to acquire ICT Centre.

The Rivers State Chairperson of NAWOJ Serekara-Nwikhana who dropped the hint while speaking with our reporter in a telephone interview noted that NAWOJ under her watch will priorities welfare of members to ensure effective service delivery.

Mrs. Serekara Nwikhana, also said her administration intend to partner and collaborate with well meaning and corporate citizens in Rivers State who share in the Association’s vision to provide a coaster bus that can facilitate the movement of members when the need arises.

The NAWOJ boss reemphasized the need for all members of the Association to come together to work hand in glove with her executive team to move the Association to the next level as all members particularly those who contested the elections with the exco should put behind them the outcome noting that the Association is one family.
