The recent assurance by President Muhammadu Buhari that the abduction of over three hundred school girls in Zamfara State would be the last in Nigeria is still generating reactions from Port Harcourt residents.

In a chat with Radio Rivers Correspondent Asitonka Fubara Tams a legal practitioner U.J.Okeke, Fubara Ajubo, Kroki Kenedi and Williams Baraius said the President’s assurance can only be accepted if proactive measures were put in place to stop a recurrence pointing out that previous promises made to Nigerians are yet to be fulfilled.

They appealed to President Buhari to match words with action by ensuring that culprits and their sponsors were brought to book to serve as deterrent to others.
