SCHOOLS IN RIVERS STATE RESUMED YESTERDAY FOR SECOND TERM 2020/2021 SESSION.

Public and private schools in Rivers State resumed yesterday for second term 2020/2021 academic session.

Our Correspondent who monitored the resumption of schools within Port Harcourt Metropolis reports that class have begun in most of the schools visited while in others, pupils and teachers were seen cleaning their environment in preparation for full academic activities.

According to our correspondent, COVID-19 equipment were seen positioned in strategic places at the entrance of the schools as part of deliberate steps by Management to mitigate further transition of the Coronavirus.

One of the teachers in Township School One, Moscow Road, Port Harcourt who spoke to our Correspondent on condition of anonymity said the management of the school had enforced compulsory wearing of facemask and hand washing by pupils of the School.
