The Arewa Youths Consultative Forum, AYCF has blamed the Federal Government for banditry and security issues in the country.
The National President of the AYCF, Yerima Shettima noted that it was the responsibility of the Federal Government to provide security for Nigerians but had failed to do so.
Shettima during an interview with newsmen called on the APC-led government to ensure that security agencies were adequately equipped with manpower.
According to him, the government should be held responsible as it is the sole responsibility of the government to provide security which is key to the citizens.
