AS ORTHODOX CHURCHES CELEBRATED MOTHERING YESTERDAY, MRS MERCY OLUCHI IHUNWO CHARGED CHRISTIAN MOTHERS TO ALWAYS TRAVAIL IN EVERY SITUATION OF LIFE.

The wife of the Bishop of Diocese of Niger Delta North, Mrs. Mercy Oluchi Ihunwo has charged Christian Mothers to always travail in every situation of life as travailing is key to answer to prayers.

Mrs. Ihunwo gave the charge in a sermon during the Mothering Sunday Thanksgiving Service at Saint Paul’s Cathedral, Diobu by Garrison Port Harcourt.

The Bishop’s wife who is also the President of Mothers Union and Women’s Guild stated that Hannah travailed in her situation and God answered her by giving her Samuel.

She described the theme of the Mothering Sunday “Travailing Woman” as apt, pointing out that Christians ought to go to waiting room as no woman that goes to the waiting room comes out the same.

Mrs. Ihunwo urged all expectant mothers to go into waiting room as God who answered Hannah was still in business of Blessing his people.
