THE POLICE COMMISSIONER HAS ORDERED THE IMMEDIATE TRANSFER OF CASE FILE OF THE MURDER OF ONE ONYEKACHI ONUOHA TO THE STATE CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT.

The Police Commissioner Friday Eboka has ordered the immediate transfer of case file of the murder of one Onyekachi Onuoha who was killed and tied with a rope hand and legs to a telecommunication mask along Abel Jumbo Street Mile One Diobu Port Harcourt to the State Criminal Investigation Department.
The Commissioner of Police also ordered that the body of the deceased be evacuated and deposited in the mortuary pending full investigations by the Criminal Investigations Department.
Police spokesman Nnamdi Omoni who stated this in Port Harcourt disclosed one arrest has already been made and the suspect is helping the Police in the on-going investigation.
It would be recalled that suspected vandals in Diobu area of Port Harcourt who attempted to remove items from a telecommunication mask were obstructed by their victim who they later killed and tied him to the telecommunication mask for two days, thereby attracting outrage and public outcry from residents of the area.
