IPAC FORMER CHAIRMAN, SIR PRECIOUS BARIDOO EXTOLES SOUTHERN GOVERNORS’ DECISION IN CALLING FOR THE BAN ON OPEN GRAZING

The former Chairman Inter Party Advisory council IPAC, Sir Precious Baridoo has extolled the decision of Southern Governors in calling for the ban on open grazing
Sir Precious Baridoo made the remark while speaking as a guest on Radio Rivers Weekly Current Affairs Programme Spotlight.
Sir Baridoo noted that such unity of purpose among Southern Governors was needed to promote national discourse on burning issues that required urgent attention.
He expressed optimism that Nigeria would have a sigh of relief if the Presidency and National Assembly would prioritize the call for restructuring and ban on open grazing.
Answering question Sir Precious Baridoo described the recent conferment of chieftaincy title Mene Kwalenu one of Ogoni Land on Governor Wike as timely and deserving considering Governor Wike’s invaluable contributions to Ogoni Land.
He paid glowing tribute to the timely intervention in the case of Joi Nunieh and appointment of prominent sons and daughters of Ogoni Land into boards and executive council as well as construction of road projects in the area
Sir Precious Baridoo who is also the Commissioner in charge of services in the state UBE Board took advantage of the programme to thank the people of Ogoni for honouring the governor and appealed to the him to embark on more projects in the area.
