PRESIDENT BUHARI TASKS FATHER MBAKA, DAVID OYEDEPO, SHEIK GUMI AMONG OTHER RELIGIOUS LEADERS TO UNITE WITH THE GOVERNMENT IN FIGHT AGAINST TERROR AND CRIMES.

President Muhammadu Buhari has tasked Father Ejike Mbaka of the Adoration Ministry, David Oyedepo, Sheik Gumi, among other religious leaders to unite with the government in the fight against terror and crimes.
Reports say President Buhari made the call in a statement titled President Buhari urges spiritual leaders to mobilize people of all faiths to fight crimes which was made available to newsmen.
According to his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity Shehu Garba, the President made the call while speaking on the telephone with the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar the third.
President Buhari called on religious leaders to help fight against kidnapping banditry and the COVID-19 Pandemic.
According to the statement, the Sultan was said to have called to celebrate successful completion of the Ramadan Fast and the observance of Eid-el-Fitr.
