Rivers State Commissioner of Information and Communications Paulinus Nsirim has restated Governor Wikes commitment to make Rivers State the medical tourism and infrastructural hub of Nigeria.
Nsirim stated this while appearing on Radio Rivers Special interview programme Tuesday Morning Live to outline the projects earmarked for commissioning and flag-off by Governor Nyesom Wike to mark the second anniversary of his second term in office.
He said Governor Wike upon his emergence as Governor of the state launched a new Rivers blue print to reposition the state on the pedestal of accelerated development of all sectors.
The Information and Communication Commissioner noted that Rivers State remained the Headquarters of hydro carbon industry in the country emphasizing that the State has within six years of Governor Nyesom wike-led administration witnessed infrastructural revolution especially construction of major roads and fly over bridges which the opposition felt those projects would not see the light of the day

Nsirim stated that Governor Wike who is a promise keeper and had fulfilled his social contract entered with Rivers people since 2015 was committed not to abandon any project during his tenure
He said the Governor who understood what it takes for a vibrant economy and stable government, established “Operation Stings and reactivated C4I eye security architecture of the state government to enthrone a conducive environment for business to thrive in the state.
Nsirim who disclosed that 16 legacy projects would be inaugurated while 23 will be flagged off to mark Governor Wike’s second tenure of second year in office, insisted that the various infrastructural projects of the present administration were attestation of Governor wike’s prudent management of scarce resources of Rivers people
Answering question on the total overhaul of Radio Rivers, Nsirim assured the total face lift of the Station assuring that government owned media organization will would be placed on the front burner of Governor Nyesom Wike led administration
