CHAPLAIN OF METROPOLITAN BATTALION COUNCIL OF THE BOYS BRIGADE NIGERIA CALLS ON NIGERIANS LEADERS TO SHUN RELIGIOUS BIGOTRY AND NEPOTISM.

The Chaplain of Metropolitan Battalion Council of the Boys Brigade Nigeria, Rivers State Council, Reverend Ikechukwu Anaga has called on Nigerian leaders to shun religious bigotry and nepotism but ensure all inclusive government to end the ongoing secessionism agitations and banditry in the Country.
Reverend Anaga who made the call during the 2021 Patrons Assembly and Investiture of Council Honorary Patrons in Port Harcourt also urged Christians to sustain their prayers for Nigeria.
The man of God emphasized that the advancement of Christ Kingdom was one of the statutory mandate of the Boys Brigade and expressed optimism that the newly inducted Honorary Patrons would discharge their duties creditably as their investiture is a call for service to God and humanity.
Also speaking, the Chairman Boy’s Brigade Nigeria Metropolitan Battalion Council, Sir Magnus Tuboalabo averred that the appointment of the new Honorary Patrons was based on their track records in the development of the boys within the metropolitan council.
Sir Tuboalabo who expressed gratitude to God for the successful hosting of the investiture ceremony, charged the new patrons to remain steadfast and always attach premium in the up-bringing of the boys.
In his sermon, Reverend Godwin Ndukwe of the Presbyterian Church, Mile One Diobu, Port Harcourt urged Christians, especially leaders to exhibit good behavior to better society.
Radio Rivers Correspondent Francis Golden reports that the General Manager of Rivers State Broadcasting Corporation, Sir Sampson Fiberesima was among those inducted into the Honorary Patrons of Boys Brigade, Nigeria Metropolitan Council.
