NBC TRAINS 20 OGINIGBA WOMEN ON FASHION AND DESIGN SKILLS WITH START-UP EQUIPMENT WORTH MILLIONS OF NAIRA.

The Nigerian Bottling Company Limited NBC has trained twenty Oginigba Women on Fashion and Design Skills development and presented them with start-up equipment worth millions of Naira inline with the Company’s post covid-19 Community Phase two Intervention Programme of its host community.
Speaking during the Small and Medium Enterprise Start-up equipment presentation ceremony in Port Harcourt, the Public Affairs and Director Communications NBC, Mr. Ekuma Eze said the programme was also in conformity with the human capacity building of the company in providing decent livelihood for the people of its host community.
Emphasizing that Nigerian Bottling Company Limited had trained over twenty-one thousand Nigerian youths under its “Youth Empower Nigeria” programme in various professional skills from 2017 till date, he urged the beneficiaries to form co-operative society to enable the company access funds from financial institutions for them to expand their businesses.
Also speaking, the State Commissioner of Commerce and Industry, Mrs. Ifeyinwa Nwankpa commended the Nigerian Bottling Company for keeping up-to-date with its corporate social responsibility to host communities.
Represented by the Head of department, small and medium enterprises of the Ministry, Mrs. Amieye Igein Sally, she urged the beneficiaries to reciprocate the gesture of the company by putting the tools received into proper use to better their lots and the society.
Some of the beneficiaries who were physically excited thanked the Nigerian Bottling Company Limited for its generosity in providing succor to them and families through the empowerment programme assuring that they will put the equipment into use to better their lot.
