The National Youth Service Corps, NYSC in Katsina says everyone including the Camp Officials, must undergo a COVID-19 test before being allowed into the Camp for the 2021 Batch-B Stream two orientation exercise.

The NYSC 2021 Batch B Stream two orientation course is scheduled to begin on Wednesday.

This was contained in a statement issued by the NYSC Spokesperson in Katsina, Alex Obemeata.

The NYSC State Coordinator, Ahidjo Yahaya, gave the directive while meeting with the heads of all collaborating agencies for the exercise.

Yahaya emphasized the need to secure all Corps members lives and properties during the three weeks orientation exercise, which begins on Wednesday.

A few weeks ago, Information Minister, Lai Mohammed accused the National Youth Service Corps of disobeying COVID-19 safety protocols resulting in a surge of corona virus cases in NYSC Camps across the country.

Alhaji Mohammed also claimed that more positive cases were reported because the Federal Government had increased COVID 19 testing.
