BISHOP DIOCESE OF OKRIKA, CHURCH OF NIGERIA, ANGLICAN COMMUNION RIGHT REVEREND ENOCH ATUBOYEDIA CALLS ON CHRISTIAN YOUTHS TO IMBIBE THE CULTURE OF UNDERSTANDING GOD’S AGENDA FOR THE TIME AND SEASON.

Bishop Diocese of Okrika, Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion Right Reverend Enoch Atuboyedia has called on Christian Youths to imbibe the culture of understanding God’s agenda for the time and season.
Bishop Atuboyedia made the call while declaring open a one day Diocesan Youth, Summit with the Theme: “In a Time Like This” at the Youth Church of Pentecost Okrika Grammar School, OGS, Okrika yesterday.
The Bishop while speaking on the significance of this Year’s Youths Summit said that the event became necessary in a time like this when the government, Churches and other well-known institutions have failed the Youths of this generation.
He encouraged all participants to take advantage of the spiritual packages unveiled at the summit.
Speaking on the Theme of the summit, The Guest Speaker, Apostle Frank Ataisi identified the time we live as a season of knowledge, technological advancement and a time for medical and social challenges, calling on the Youths to stand up and speak in one voice for them to be heard.
Apostle Ataisi urged the Youths of Anglican Communion to resist any temptation to succumb to Peer Pressure and other vices adding that it will undermine their God given potentials and purpose on earth.
Also speaking, a Neuro-health practitioner of the Rivers State Neuro-Psychatric Hospital Port Harcourt, Dr. Iberedum David in a health Seminar spoke on the dangers associated with drugs and substance abuse and its impact on youths, calling on Christian Youths to resist the urge to abuse drugs and other substances stressing that it leads to mental illness, poverty and untimely death.
Some participants, Nehemiah Assimie and Mercy Okujagu who spoke to Radio Rivers reporter Neebari Dum Nwalu expressed their willingness to stand out as Ambassadors of Christ in their various institutions of learning noting that the summit has equipped them with the fire of the spirit to make positive impacts in their generation.
The youth submit featured drama presentation and a plenary session which addressed questions from participants.
