2020 WAEC RESULT FOR SENIOR SECONDARY RELEASED.

The West Afican Examination Council WAEC has released the results of the 2020 West African senior school Certificate Examination with one million, three hundred and thirty-eight thousand, three hundred and forty-eight candidates passing with five credits and above.
The Head of the Nigerian Office of WAEC, Patrick Areghan who announced the result at a press briefing on monday 2nd in Lagos said one million three hundred and thirty-eight thousand, three hunred and fort-eight obtained five credits with or without English and Mathematics.
According to Mr Areghan, out of one million, three thousand six hundred and sixt-eight who obtained five credits with both Mathematics and English, the girls share was five hundred and six thousand, five hundred and twenty-nine representing fifty point four seven percent while the male student who obtained the same level of credit were four hundred and ninety-seven thousand one hundred and thirty-nine or forty-nine point five three percent.
Candidates who obtained five credits with English and Mathematics were slightly more than those who did so in 2019
He also disclosed that two hundred and fifteen thousand, one hundred and forty-nine results are being withheld for various examination malpractices.
