RIVERS STATE PDP STATE CHAIRMAN, AMBASSADOR DESMOND AKAWOR CELEBATES HIS BIRTHDAY.

Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr Ipaliba Harry Banigo, the Head of Service, Mr Rufus Godwins, Some members of the state Exective Council, former Health Commissioner, Dr Sampson Parker, Special Advisers, Wife of the chief of staff to Rivers State governor, some Local Government Chairman, Party stalwarts including members of the state Executive Commitee of the PDP, Clergy and Captains of industry were among eminent Nigerians from across the state that graced the birthday celebation of the state PDP chairman, Ambassador Desmond Akawor at his residence in Port Harcourt,

The event which featured choir rendition, cutting of the anniversary cake and live performance also included prayers and word ministration.

Speaking at the event, Amssador Akawor attributed his rise in public life to God and former Governor Peter Odili who took him as his child and Wike foe the opportunity to serve the state.

Ambassador Akawor who renewed his commitment to service expressed happiness for the show of love exhibited by the people.
