GOVERNOR WIKE SIGNED 2021 APPROPRIATION BILL INTO LAW

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has on Thursday 10th December 2020 signed the 2021 Appropriation Bill passed by the State House of Assembly into law.
Governor Wike also assented to seven other Bills passed by the House of Assembly.
They include Rivers State Audit Law No.2 of 2020, Rivers State Violence Against Persons(Prohibition) Law No.4 of 2020, Rivers State Dehumanization and Harmful Traditional Practices (Abolition) (Amendment) Law No.11 of 2019, Rivers State Female Circumcision (Abolition) (Amendment) Law No.9 of 2019,
Others are Rivers State Security Trust Fund Law No.6 of 2020, Rivers State University Teaching Hospital (Amendment) Law No.24 of 2020 and the Port Harcourt Politechnic (Amendment) Law No.13 of 2019.
Speaking after signing the Bills into Law at the Banquet Hall of Government House, Port Harcourt, Governor Wike thanked members of the State House of Assembly for the passageof the various bills,particularlythe 2021 Appropriation.
Governor Wike noted with happiness the cordial relationshipbetween the three arms of government in the state and assured of the full implementation of the 2021 Budgetto its logical conclusion for the overall benefit and development of the state.
