PORT HARCOURT RESIDENTS REACTED AS WORLD BANK APPROVED 1.5B$ LOAN TO EASE THE IMPACT OF CORONAVIRUS IN NIGERIA

As the World Bank approved 1.5Billion Dollar loan to ease the impact of Coronavirus in Nigeria, Port Harcourt residents have reacted to the move.

An enterpreneur and businessman, Mr Obinna Daniel in an interview with Radio Rivers Correspondent, Neebari Dum-Nwalu codemed the move citing the failure of the Federal Government in the management of previous loans.

He lanmented that such loan will drive the country into serous ecoomic distress.

Also, Mr. Godswill Dim, argued that accepting such amount will distroy the future of youths in the country.

He advised the Federal Government to focus in building the economy through the esterblishment of industries that will create jobs for the youths.

He called on the Federal Government to put the loan to good use in order to save the country’s economy.
