Low turnout of passengers travelling within and outside the state for the New Year has been reported.
Motor Parks visited were virtually empty as there were only a handful of passengers seen travelling outside Port Harcourt to the countryside.
Radio Rivers reporter, Fubara Miebaka Amadi who monitored the situation in the State Capital reports that the transport fare from Port Harcourt to Uyo still remains Five thousand Naira per passenger.
The transport fare from Port Harcourt to Ukanafun was formerly One thousand five hundred Naira but is now One thousand eight hundred naira , while Port Harcourt to Oron which was formerly One thousand seven hundred Naira is now Three thousand five hundred Naira.
Andoni transportation fare still remains One thousand Naira while Abua is six hundred Naira per passengers.
Our reporter who visited Rumuola, Mile three, Mile One and Abali Motor Parks reports that drivers and paasengers were seen wearing face masks in line with Covid-19 protocols.
