The Bishop, Diocese of Okrika, Anglican Communion, Right Reverend Enoch Atuboyedia has tasked Christians to become instruments in Gods vineyard and remain committed in the Service of God and humanity as a cardinal objective of Christianity.
Right Reverend Atuboyedia who stated this in a sermon during the rededication service at Saint Gabriel’s Anglican Church Ogu in Ogu-bolo Local Government Area, said there are numerous blessing in rendering selfless service to God.
The Anglican Cleric who spoke on “The word of God”, urged Christians to have an intimate work with God in humility emphasizing that people now deviate from the things of God and pursue personal activities that will not lead them to eternity.
Bishop Atuboyedia stated that the rededication was basically to have a renewal of Covenant with God in their service for the year 2021.
Bishop Atuboyedia urged Anglican faithful within the Diocese and beyond to be on fire for God by winning souls for Christ, pointing out that God always rewards dedicated and committed Christians.
Radio Rivers Correspondent, Francis Golden reports that highpoint of the rededication Service was administration of Holy Communion and Prayers for government and the Church.
