As part of preventive measures for containment of the spread of the second wave of Covid-19 in Rivers State, the National Orientation Agency has commenced monitoring of compliance by Nursery, Primary and Secondary schools in Okrika Local Government Area.
At Excell Comprehensive School Ogan-ama, the State Director of the Agency Young Ayotamuno said the second wave of coronavirus was more deadly warning children, youths and adults to limit their movement and abide by the existing protocols.
The NOA boss who was particularly happy over the institutions compliance in terms of social distancing, use of face mask, sanitizers and hand washing, advised schools in Kirikese to comply insisting that Covid-19 is not a death sentence.
