The former Chairman Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC, Sir Precious Baridoo says those criticizing Governor Nyesom Wike for supporting the government and people of Sokoto State with five hundred million Naira over the inferno that engulfed Sokoto Central Market did so out of ignorance and bad politicking.

He made the assertion in an interview with our reporter, Baridorn Sika in Port Harcourt.

Sir Baridoo who is also the Commissioner in-charge of Services in the State UBE Board explained that other State Governors had stood by Rivers people when Mile One markethad similar challenge in recent past, pointing out that Governor Wike donated that amount of money to respond to common humanity and to identify with the people of Sokoto in their trying moments.

He described the criticism against the gesture as unnecessary and bad politicking capable of overheating the polity and called for a change of heart.
