Myanmar Police also known as Burma have filed several charges against the elected Civilian leader Aung San Suu Kyi
This follows Monday’s Military Coup.
Reports indicate that she has been remanded in Custody until February 15.
The charges included breaching import and export laws and possession of unlawful communication devices.
Her whereabouts are still unclear but it has been reported that she is being held at her resident in the Capital, Nay Pyi Taw.
Deposed President, Win Myint in Custody for two weeks has also been charged with violating rules, banning gathering during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
