SENATOR CHIMAROKE NNAMANI ACCUSES NIGERIAN LEADERS OF LACK OF EMPATHY WHICH HAS WORSENED NIGERIA’S POVERTY

Former Governor of Enugu State, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani has accused Nigerian leaders and elites of lacking empathy which has worsened Nigeria’s poverty situation.
Nnamani who is the current lawmaker representing Enugu East in the National Assembly made the remark on Friday when he featured on a television programme.
The Senator noted that the poverty crisis had also resulted in desperation, anger and was a recipe for the EndSARS protests that rocked the country last year.
According to Nnamani, the gap crisis is a problem that needs to be addressed which include economic inequality, gender inequality and regional inequality adding that the wide gap is part of the frustration, anger and tension in the land.
