LAGOS HIGH COURT HAS SENTENCE FORMER GENERAL MANAGER OF DANGOTE INDUSTRY TO SEVEN YEARS IN PRISON

Justice Ogunsanya of Lagos State High Court has sentenced a former General Manager of the Dangote Industry Limited, Mojisola Aladejobi, to seven years in prison over a thirty two thousand dollars insurance fraud.
Aladejobi was sentenced alongside two others Raymond Akanolu and Balogun Alaba.
The convicts were assigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on two counts of conspiracy and attempt to obtain money by false pretences to the tune of thirty two thousand dollars.
Reports say the convicts had in October 2014 conspired among themselves and defraud the company by inflating the premium for the insurance policy cover for its Hawker aircraft with registration number 5N-DGN.
The offence confirmed section 323 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State No, 11 of 2011.
