A Christian Woman Leader, Mrs. Joy Fyneface Akah has tasked Christian Women to be beacon of peace and unity, not only in their families but to society at large.
Mrs. Joy Akah stated this while receiving an award by the Christian Women of Bettel Anglican Church Rumuibekwe Port Harcourt to mark the 2021 Mothering Sunday at the Church.
She described the celebration of Mothering Sunday as a time to reflect on the invaluable contributions of mothers to families and national development.
Mrs. Akah, thanked the Christian Women of Bethel Anglican Church Rumuibekwe for the honour and pledged to remain good ambassador of the Community and the Church.
Delivering a sermon, Mrs. Faith Ugochukwu-Nwahaghi charged mothers to be the prophets of their homes to provide the needed spiritual needs of their families.
Mrs. Faith Ugochukwu-Nwahaghi urged mothers to monitor their children and wards to raise a godly family and in turn produce a virile society.
It featured choral rendition, presentation of awards and prayers for the state and nation.
