UNIVERSITY OF ABUJA APPROVES THE EXPULSION OF 46 STUDENTS FOR THEIR INVOLVEMENT IN VARIOUS ACTS OF MISCONDUCT IN BREACH OF MATRICULATION OATH.

The Senate of the University of Abuja has approved the expulsion of forty six students for their involvement in various acts of misconduct in breach of their sworn matriculation Oath.
The Head Information and University Relations, Dr Habib Yakoob said in a statement that five other students were rusticated for one semester, the cases of three others involved in sundry offences would be retried, while seven accused persons were exonerated, discharged and acquitted.

He said the Senate considered the report and recommendations of the Students Disciplinal Committee and after due diligence, approved the expulsion, rustication, retrial and exoneration of the affected students.
The expelled students cut across several departments, while fifteen of the students were in their four hundred level, twenty were in three hundred level, eight, two hundred level and three one hundred level.
