RIVERS STATE COMMISSIONER FOR SPORTS, BOMA IYAYE ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF TWO BUSES TO ENABLE ATHLETEC PREPARE FOR NEXT YEAR’S NATIONAL SPORTS FESTIVAL.

Rivers State Commissioner for Sports, Boma Iyaye has announced the release of two buses to enable athletes prepare for next year’s National Sports Festival.

Mr. Iyaye made the pronouncement during a stakeholder meeting with coaches and sports secretary at the VIP Hall of the Civil Centre Complex, directed that the coaches and secretaries begin massive discovery and talent hunt for potential athletes from the twenty three Local Government Area especially in the sports whose the state has comparative advantage.

Addressing the gathering, Iyaye promised that the Ministry has decided to rejig the process so as to bring in competent hands into sporting associations.
