FRESH STUDENTS OF IGNATIUS AJURU UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION URGED TO TAKE THEIR STUDIES SERIOUSLY.

Fresh students of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt have been charged to take their studies seriously as well as be dedicated to reading their books in order to achieve set goals.
Comrade Bestman Nelson Mandy gave the charge at the induction of year one students of the institution held at the Seaside Theatre of the university.
Comrade Mandy who described education as the drive line to the progress of every nation, urged the students to be focused, taking into cognizance what they came to school to do.
Speaking with Radio Rivers reporter on the sideline, the President of Global Aid International Environmental Initiative, Harry Enoch lauded the facilitators in the programme and urged the students to work hard to achieve desired objectives.
Earlier, the President, National Union of Rivers State Students, NURSS, Ignatius Ajuru University of Education Chapter, Iyo Israel Atarunotekeari said the induction was aimed at adapting, adjusting an prepare the minds of the new students into the tenets and requirements of their stay in the university with a view to producing better, effective and proficient graduates.
Highpoint of the programme was presentation of awards to prominent citizens and unveiling of NURSS 2021 projects.
