The Vice Chairman Ijaw National Congress, Abuja Chapter, Aya Francise Nonju has commended the state Governor, Nyesom Wike for his infrastructural development in Okrika land, describing it as a dream come true.
Speaking in an interview with Radio Rivers reporter, Asitonka Fubara Tams in Okrika, Mr. Nonju said the Governor’s initiative to flag off the sandfilling of Okrika Mangrove which has a always been a long awaited project of Okrikans from previous administrations will bring total transformation and economic recovery as well as enhance youth empowerment among others in the area.
Also speaking, a legal practitioner, Mela Oforibika among others praised the Governor for carrying out projects not sited by other Governors noting that the sandfilling of parts of Okrika mangrove area, is a positive step to fulfilling his promise of connecting bridges within communities in Okrika.
They opined that other administrations with borrow a leaf from this government that is committed to executing projects that are beneficial to the people.
