The newly launched Security Outfit in Rivers State known as C41 is asking members of the public to furnish the command with information and tips that would lead to the arrest of criminals.
The Commander of C41 Unit of Rivers State Police Command, Paul Obotimor made the appeal when members of the South South Peace Initiative paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Port Harcourt.
Paul Obotimor said the unit was resolute in its contributions to the fight against criminals in the state.
Earlier, the National President of the South South Peace Initiative, Saviour Emabe said security should be seen as a collective responsibility and not the duty of the police alone.
C41 is an initiative of Rivers State Government to partner security agencies to tackle criminality in the twenty-three Local Government Areas of the State.
