RIVERS STATE DEPUTY GOVERNOR DR. IPALIBO HARRY BANIGO URGES CHURCHES IN NIGERIA TO UNITE.

Rivers State Deputy Governor Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo says the late Alabo Ombo Clinton Odibo Tom Big Harry was a very patriotic Nigerian and illustrious son of Rivers State who contributed much to the development of Nigeria and Obuama his home town.
Dr. Banigo made the assertion during the funeral service in his honour at the African church, Saint John’s parish, Obuama in Degema Local Government Area
According to the deputy governor when Alabo O.C. Tom Big Harry was in NNPC he enssured that there was a good representation of Rivers people in various positions where he could have influence and make sure that the local content was observed to the best of his ability, stressing that he was a devout Christian who was an epitome of humility, honesty and diligence in the things of God
Dr. Banigo who urged Christians to intensity their faith and commitment to the work of God said at this time and season the people of God must be watchful and prayerful, adding that with what is happening around the nation, Christianity seems to be endangered.
Dr. Banigo urged the churches in Nigeria to come together and unite, no matter the denomination as the Lord will continue to build His church in Nigeria and no gates of hell wherever they will come from external or internal will prevail.
