THE ONDO STATE GOVERNOR ROTIMI AKEREDOLU SIGNS THE ANTI-GRAZING BILL PASSED BY THE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY INTO LAW.

Written by on September 1, 2021

The Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has signed the Anti-Grazing Bill passed by the House of Assembly into law.

This is coming in the wake of a mandate by President Muhammadu Buhari over the review of three hundred and sixty eight grazing sites across twenty-five States of the country.

It would be recalled that Southern Governors Forum at its last meeting in Lagos on July fifth 2021, unanimously adopted September first, 2021, as the deadline for the signing of the bill.

A statement by the State Commissioner for information and Orientation, Donald Ojogo says the move is in line with the resolution of the Southern Governors’ Forum at its last meeting in Lagos where September first was set as the deadline for Governors in Southern Nigeria to sign the Anti-Open Grazing Bill
