AT LEAST FIFTY PERSONS ARE REPORTEDLY TRAPPED IN THE TWENTY-ONE STOREY BUILDING COLLAPSE IN LAGOS

At least fifty persons are reportedly trapped in the twenty-one storey building collapse in Lagos.
The National Emergency Management Agency Acting Coordinator, Ibrahim Farinloye confirmed the number of casualties to be over fifty persons.
Director General of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA, Femi Oke-Osanyinlolu also said the persons trapped appeared more than fifty but his agency had reactivated its operational mechanisms to ensure quick response.
The on-going twenty-one storey building under construction in Ikoyi, Lagos collapsed about three pm on Monday with the owner of the property and other construction workers allegedly trapped in the rubbles.
